Here at KAH Ceramics, I offer classes and workshops suitable for the complete beginner or potters who wish to further their skills.
Located in Carlisle, Cumbria, the pottery is tucked away within the beautiful Atlas Works building. An old industrial factory that has been taken over by artisans, dance studios and small independent businesses.
The studio offers fantastic lighting, fully equipped with state of the art machinery.
We focus mainly on hand building but the opportunity to throw on the wheel is also available.

As well as classes, I also offer private parties for children’s birthdays, hen parties, corporate days and group get togethers with friends.
A fun and creative experience for those wishing to embrace their creative side!
Children’s parties: £20pp for 12 years and younger. £30pp for 13 years and older. Each session is 2 hours long and you will get the chance to build ether an animal, monster or mug/ vase. You will get roughly an hour to make, 20-30 minuets for snacks and cake (provided by the party booker) and a final 30 minuets to paint and finish your masterpiece.
Group bookings and corporate events: £30pp with a minimum of 3 people attending. A range of hand building options will be on offer or the chance to coil a pot if you fancy. Each session will be 2 hours long with roughly an hour to make and the rest of your time spent painting. All materials and firings are included as well as soft hot and cold drinks. Please feel free to bring any food and drink too!
